2-Day Chanting Session - 精進佛二

Dear all,

Following the success of the 1-Day Chanting session in early March, we will be having a 2-Day Chanting session (精進佛二) on the 2nd bank holiday weekend in May, the 24th & 25th May (Sat & Sun) from 9:30am - 5pm and you are all welcome to attend this session. The format of the session will be relatively simple as the main objective is to focus on the recitation of “Amituofo”. The proposed outline for the 2-Day Chanting session is the same as our usual fortnightly session.

Dear all,

We will be having a 1-Day Chanting Session (精進佛一) on the 2nd March (Sunday) from 9:30am - 5pm and you are all welcome to attend this session. During the walking meditation (繞佛), we will be chanting the Name of Amitabha Buddha in Mandarin (Amituofo, 阿彌陀佛).

The schedule for the meeting will be the same as before, furthermore the meetings from now on will be 2 weeks apart, however please check our calendary for the excat date of the meetings. We would like to let you know the next chanting session (念佛共修法會) will be on this coming Sunday (16/09/07) at 2pm. The meeting will be held at an office in 58b Bulwer Street, it is about 2/3 mintues walk from Shepherd’s Bush underground station on the central line or Hammersmith and City line - If you like please give me a call (07886299633) and I will arrange someone to pick you up at the station.

Meeting about opening a Buddhist centre

Dear Friends,

I would like to initiate the idea of establishing a ‘buddhist learning centre’ here in London.

But first I would like ask all of you for your ideas and opinions. I will be arranging a meeting in August (time and location will be confirmed near the time). This would a good opportunity to meet and discuss ideas and plans about bringing the dharma to london.

So far I already have 3 people committed in helping to run the centre 1x a month - if it were to be established.

We should have compassionate intention to provide the opportunity for everyone to learn the dharma and seek the right noble path.

I hope everyone can make it. Please feel free to bring friends along.
